WELCOME TO TANSI INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE, AWKA (TICA)

Founded in 1999 with ninety nine (99) students, Tansi International College Awka (TICA) is a core Catholic boarding school for boys only. While admission is open to candidates from other christian denominations, TICA is owned and managed by the Catholic Diocese of Awka whose proprietor is Most Rev. Paulinus C. Ezeokafor. The school is named after the first saintly Nigerian priest –Blessed Cyprian Michael Iwene Tansi who was dedicated to the wholistic education of the youths. The proper feast day celebration of the school is usually on 20^th January.

VISION AND MISSION: Worried by the fallen standard of education in the country, the Catholic diocese of Awka stormed the education sector with a view of restoring the glories of catholic education and formation through standard and quality education packages. The Mission of the school is encapsulated in just two words: sapientia et disciplina (wisdom and discipline). Thus, by producing integral, well informed and disciplined human person (citizens), the mission of the college would have been achieved. YOU ARE WELCOME TO TICA, FEEL AT HOME!
