·                Define computer ethics

·                Explain the appropriate ways to use the computer

COMPUTER ETHICS

The word “ethics” simply means the lay down rules governing the behavior of group of people. So, computer Ethics is defined as the rules and regulations guiding the use of computer.

The following are good ways to make use of the computer

·                Remove the computer from the socket when not in use

·                For desktop computers, make use of the UPS (uninterruptible power supply) to serve as a power bank whenever there is power failure to enable the computer user to save his/her work and shut down the computer appropriately.

·                Do not eat in the computer room and avoid water spillage.

·                Proper Illumination if the computer room: make sure that you light up the computer room to prevent unexpected accident in the computer room

·                Use of voltage stabilizer to step up and step down current which is low or high and there by preventing the computer from damaging.

·                Install anti virus to your computer to prevent infected files from entering and destroying the documents in our computers.

·                Use dust cover to cover up your computer after use.

·                Do not use wet rag to clean your computer.
