Specific Objectives:

By the end of this lesson the students should be able to (1) Define still life painting (2) Make still life painting (3) Describe nature painting (4) Make nature painting.

Definition of Still Life Painting:

It is the painting of man-made objects or life less object eg bucket, plates, bottles, fruits

How To Make Still Life Painting

1.      Observe the object kept before you, try to see curves and shape.

2.      Gradually put down the curves and shapes you see on a drawing sheet.

3.      Observing as you sketch, try to represent the image before you on a sheet.

4.      Using the required colour, according to your image, colour sure to dip brush in water to achieve flat colouring

Nature Painting: These is a drawing of things found in nature eg animals, plant, rocks

How to make nature painting

Follow the steps as in still life painting
