20.     LITOTES

It is a statement of fact in the negative to express a concept or idea. It is also a purposive understatement. Litotes is usually expressed with negative adverbs like "not "and "no". Examples:

Figures of Association, Metonymy, Epigram, Antithesis, repetition, pun and Rhetorical question.
