BENEFITS OF THE INTERNET

The following are the ways internet could be beneficial to mankind:

• In banking

Banking online is much more convenient and less time consuming than going to the bank and standing on the queue waiting for your turn to deposit or withdraw

• In Education

Students can use the internet to do some research on any topic. It can help them in school projects, presentation or assignments.

• In online marketing

Goods can be ordered online while sitting in the comfort of your home. You can purchase items such as books, plates, flowers, baby clothes etc from the internet.

• In Job seeking

Internet makes life easy for both the employers and job seekers as there as plenty of job sites which connects employers and job seekers

• E-learning (Electronic learning)

This is receiving training or educational program by electronic means.

E-learning involves the use of a computer or a smartphone phone to provide training online. Distance education can be done using E-learning.

• Entertainment

The internet offers different forms of entertainment such as: movie, music, comedy both in audio and visual means.
