Specific Objectives: by the end of this lesson students should be able to

1.     Find the sum of angles of triangles.

2.     Find the sum of angles in a quadrilateral.

3.     Find the sum of interior angles of a given convex polygon.

4.     Use angles of elevation and depression to calculate heights and distances.

Introduction

An angle is formed when two straight lines meet. It is measured in degrees (^o).
